A Victorian Penny would be a great start to this web log and hopefully I will be able to update this site often. This is one of my favourite pieces as it retains much of its original details, jaw dropping details considering the amount of years it has been in circulation. The only flaws are that it has lost its lustre, had a tiny edge knock and the highest point of Britannia had a minor wear. Despite the usual ferocious bidding wars on auction sites, I won this piece at a reasonably low price. Score. Not scarce and no bank breaking price tag attached to it, just a piece I love and adore.
